Such a charming hotel! I stayed here during the week for a work trip and was blown away by the location. I didn’t realize how close I’d be to both the town center and Haystack Rock, everything was so accessible that I barely touched my car. The rooms were spotless and larger than the pictures can show!
I had the sweetest birthday stay at McBee Cottages in Cannon Beach. I booked last minute with my service dog and honestly didn’t expect much but from the moment I arrived they made it feel personal and so welcoming.
We had an incredible stay at Cannon Beach Hotel. The collection of properties is unique, comfortable, and perfectly located. You can park your car and be on the beach within minutes, while also being steps from great restaurants, coffee, and cocktails. The highlight of our trip was Maya.
This was our first time staying at McBee cottages, and we were quite pleased. Our trip to Cannon Beach was spontaneous, and we were looking for a nice place to stay that was not too expensive. The room we rented was rustic but nice and clean. A very comfortable bed and fireplace made a nice ambiance for us to relax.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
