Stayed for the first time with my parents and this place was amazing. Checked all the boxes - spacious for three adults, beautiful view and very easy access to Cannon Beach, includes parking, close to restaurants and has an elevator. Unexpected bonus - each room had its own T.V.!
Our family of four stayed three nights at Schooner’s Cove. The location was perfect for us; Haystack Rock is about a mile south, and so were the larger beach crowds. This end of the beach was quieter and I felt more comfortable letting my two kiddos be on the sand while I lounged in the chairs overlooking the water.
STAY HERE! It’s be favorite hotel I’ve ever stayed at. So clean and large rooms, we didn’t have an ocean view but we were only steps away. Cleaning lady came so quickly it was like a wizard. Parking was great and easy. Location was PERFECT. Peaceful but just around the corner was everything you could want.
We had a beautiful stay at Schooner's Cove Inn. The location is perfect. You are right on the beach within walking distance to haystack, and everything you need in town. The rooms have everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are also grills to use so you can cook up diner and enjoy the sunset all out back!
Getting married at Schooner's Cove Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
