On the property
“Only annoying thing is the cruise ships that dock and block the views during the day, but in the evening, they're all gone.”

From the reviews
The only downside is that the tram to the lodge still isn't fixed. They are really good about offering transportation via the van. We did the trail up and down, which was fine for us to get those steps in. The view is beautiful, the staff is nice. They came to pick us up at the airport, which was great.
Best views in the city. Food was fresh. I had the fish and chips. The chips were crispy and tasty. The slaw was very good with a vinaigrette dressing. Of course the halibut was awesome. Good size portions too!
Getting married at Cape Fox Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
