From the reviews
We had such a great time at Waterfall Resort. The fishing was awesome, the scenery was unreal, and we saw so much wildlife throughout the trip. Huge shoutout to our guide, Evan. He was knowledgeable, easy to spend the day with, and worked hard to make sure we had a great experience.
Waterfall Resort was was one of the top outdoor experiences I've ever had. The setting (100 year old renovated salmon cannery), the staff, the food, the boats and equipment, my great boat captain Jeff Allred (boat #9), and wildlife (whales, otters, sea lions and eagles), was fantastic!
My time at Waterfall Resort was amazing, the location, staff, the fishing experience and my guide were all above and beyond my expectations. I am planning on my return in the near future. From the floatplane to arrival and departure was seamless. Thank you for the experience.😎😎😎
Amazing scenery, people and fishing. Fishing was top notch with amazing and very knowledgeable guide/captain who was alot of fun to be around all 4 days. Will definitely be back next year and hopefully bring more people.
Getting married at Waterfall Resort Alaska
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
