We love the Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort and have been coming here for years! It's a place that our kids especially enjoy, as they can easily roam from the grassy area, pool, to the beach, and many kids return year over year for a reunion of sorts.
We love coming here! The resort is directly across from the beach, yet right in the heart of the village. The staff are wonderful and the grounds are impeccable. The resort is within walking distance to many cute little shops and great restaurants of all types. There is an activities dept.
Love this location and Carlsbad. Have been owners for many years. Service levels? Rooms are nice and clean. Do a great job with overall resort maintenance. Little irritations with technology and internet. Pool and hot tub pretty crowded so hard to use and be able to relax and enjoy. Love the music on specific days.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
