Come for the plants… stay for the drinks, arcade, food, play area… and even animals. Really cool spot and it just kept going! The staff was super friendly but a little hard to identify. I would recommend that they need name tags or shirts that match. Especially in the kids area.
Really cool venue for photoshoots! We recently photographed an engagement session at this place and had so many different backdrops to choose from. The owners did a wonderful job offering this space to the Crystal Coast area.
So fun and worth the trip! This garden center is a venue. Petting zoo, kids playground, bar, food, arcade, gifts, plants galore!!!! Weekend bands and food trucks. The owners daughter graduated from the local community college and turned this garden center into a cash cow! Best money the Dad ever invested.
We took our kids to visit Santa at Carolina Home and Garden in Newport, NC, and it was pure holiday magic! The setup in the cozy sunroom with the beautiful fireplace made for the perfect backdrop—our family photos turned out amazing (we used our own phones, and the friendly staff were super helpful if needed for us).
Getting married at Carolina Home & Garden
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
