Ok I had previously written an unfair review because I changed my phone number and it had not connected to my iMessage account. Apologies for that. This place is gorgeous and the service has been very helpful and prompt. The terrace was my favorite spot to enjoy the views.
My partner and I stayed at this hotel in the past and recently, we booked a stay for us, my family, and grandkids, had a slight problem arise and the manager "Cole", was gracious in handling it for us. This hotel has a great staff, beautiful rooms and wonderful service, along with its location.
The Casa Loma leans into its identity as a quaint boutique hotel, where “intimate” is the polite way of describing thoughtfully confined spaces. We stayed in a Village Room just one floor above the lobby, street-facing, with a view onto the Pacific Coast Highway.
The hotel is very aesthetically pleasing which was a real treat. From the front entry to the pool to the small details in the room, we loved everywhere we looked and everything we looked at.
Getting married at Casa Loma Beach Hotel
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
