This is a WONDERFUL place to have an event! My son's wedding felt intimate and I appreciated having separate spaces for dancing.
Nice community center with regular events plus there is a commercial kitchen and two large room that can be rented by the hour. I'm not sure if there is a minimum but I found it to be a reasonable price to pay for the kitchen and the venue space. Plenty of parking. Current pricing can be had with a phone call or email.
Amazing local venue that offers eclectic and diverse events and gatherings. The Casper community center is a model example of a small community creating amazing events and experiences.
My parents had their 50th wedding anniversary party here and it was perfect. We had access to the kitchen and the playground out back was perfect for keeping little ones happy.
Getting married at Caspar Community
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
