From the reviews
Loved this location, we originally had 15 people but ended up being a group of 10. We were able to share two rooms and all have access to the main space. The farm was spacious and the beach trail was really convenient.
This is a wonderful place for a Wedding and/ or a family and friends reunion. We were there from Friday until Sunday morning. The various places on the Farm gave many things to do and many places to have each event. Thank you so much for all that you at the farm do to keep this place up for those wanting to spend time.
I've stayed at the campground with a group several times and love this property. The property itself is beautiful, and the trails to the beach and ecological staircase are awesome. We volunteered at the native plant nursery and had a great time.
Stayed here for a weekend and it waws lovely! Marie was extremely accommodating and let us move to another open cabin when our stove wasn't working properly. Everything was clean and quiet and the access to the hiking trails and beach were amazing! Definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet weekend away.
Getting married at Jug Handle Creek Farm and Nature Center
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
