From the reviews
The most beautiful venue to have a wedding or private event... the view is absolutely breath taking. There is a vineyard with grapes, chardonnay and pinot noir on the property and the owner is pleasant and willing to sell you a keepsake bottle. The venue itself is accommodating with large clean bathrooms and a kitchen.
A beautiful venue. There is a large patio with ocean views for a spectaular outdoor experience. A hidden gem in Rancho Palos Verdes
Our son was married here in 2012, and it was a wonderful experience all around. The property is beautiful, the view rivals any on the planet, and the infrastructure that Jim York has put together works very well for a wedding. We had 130 guests, but the venue can easily accomodate more than that.
Great location for weddings and other events. Had an event for the Palos Verde Art Center, a fundraiser, and the location made it fabulous. 2nd event today, July 14. Even better than last year, and last year was FAB. Go check it out for your next special event.
Getting married at Catalina View Gardens
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
