If you're a bride looking to get married at Los Verdes we 100% say go for it. As wedding photographers who have worked here we can honestly say the whole day is an absolute dream from start to finish.
Nice course with its share of difficulties but I enjoyed the course as much as the layout, looks like I’ll have to come back some other time for the view.
Los Verdes is the best bang for your buck with amazing views of Catalina Island and the ocean. If you can't get to Torrey Pines and don't want to pay the high prices, Los Verdes is the next best thing! The course for an early April round was in good shape. Greens weren't fast, but were in great shape.
Getting married at Los Verdes Golf Course
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
