From the reviews
Clallam Bay County Park is a serene coastal oasis on the rugged shores of Washington State's Olympic Peninsula with breathtaking views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the picturesque mountains beyond.
I’m not sure of the boundaries of this park but we parked at the end of Salt Air street (there are a few parking spots). It was a gorgeous rock and kelp-filled beach. We saw bald Eagles and views of Canada.
Just drive a little way along the highway and you can take a walk along the beach as the bridge to the beach is closed. But the bathrooms are not!
Looked nice, but we couldn't get out to the beach since the walk bridge is closed. Looks like it might be closed for a while. No notice as to why.
Getting married at Clallam Bay County Park
Clallam Bay County Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
