“We stayed at the point unit 987 second floor, beautiful sunset every night, dolphins every morning.”
From the reviews
The unit was renovated and was beautiful, however there didn't seem to be an inspection to make sure everything was in working order prior to us being 1st people in unit. The vent in downstairs bedroom was missing which could have resulted in an injury. The security lock on door was inoperable.
An absolute gem of a paradise! The staff and management at Wyndham Edisto Island provide premium service that is friendly and incredibly accommodating. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and the suites are clean and spacious. Seamless experience from start to finish.
You will need transportation nothing is close. Never ending beach and shells. Need shoes and chairs. Skip paying for the state park, park at the beach, walk along the beach and enter there. We stayed at the point unit 987 second floor, beautiful sunset every night, dolphins every morning. Lots of jelly fish.Eddy-slow.
We've visited this Wyndham property multiple times and enjoy it for its great location on the Helena Sound. Our rooms were a little dated but clean and we successfully avoided Wyndham's high-pressure sales tactics, so our collective blood pressure remained in check.
Getting married at Club Wyndham Ocean Ridge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
