From the reviews
The Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach is THE most stunning wedding venue on the Gulf Coast. I shopped around many other venues but the second I stepped on site at this art gallery along the water I knew it was the one. Meeting Katrina Anderson (the event coordinator) was like meeting my fairy godmother.
The CAC is the most beautiful venue inside and out. Not only does this venue provide you with a ton of options but it also is so unique so that you can truly make it your own. When my husband and I arrived at the venue for the very first time, we knew it was the one.
I like this place so much! It's well organized and such a wonderful location to visit with family and friends. I participated in the Pottery class offered in the mornings. Ms. Maia was an excellent instructor and very personable! She gave clear instructions and was able to help each step of the way.
There are 80 artists represented in this gorgeous gallery. The Hot Spot has created a Chihuly like chandelier inside that one would swear is the real thing. The interior reminds me of the Salvatore Dali Museum in St Pete. The Hot Spot takes reservations for glass blowing lessons and the clay studio does as well.
Getting married at Coastal Arts Center of Orange Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
