What a fantastic experience we had at Coral Sands! My husband and I were originally booked to stay at another hotel, but when we ran into issues late New Year’s Eve / early New Year’s Day, we called Coral Sands to check availability and they came to the rescue.
Loved the location, staff, and views. The rooms could use a bit more TLC, especially when it comes to details like fixtures, caulking, and overall finishing touches. The bathroom tub also needs replacement, and some of the water fixtures could use updating as well.
I have been staying here for years every time I go to Daytona or Ormond beach area. This is where I stay staff is always super helpful. Super friendly eager to assist rooms are always clean. Property is clean, just in general, really nice place to stay.
We stayed in one of the cottages and loved it. The rooms were clean and the location right on the beach was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Sinclair who went above and beyond to help when needed and always has a smile on his face. We will definitely stay here whenever we are in the area.
Getting married at Coral Sands Inn & Seaside Cottages
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
