One of the quietest hotel rooms we’ve experienced. Although the property is near a bridge overpass and a marina area with some nearby traffic, we were pleasantly surprised by how little road noise we heard. Even the nearby pizza place/bar was barely noticeable from inside the room.
From our very first meeting with Elise through to the final event, she made sure no detail was left undone. Her coordinating skills are exemplary, and her communication was always clear, timely, and on point. At Courtyard Marriott Madeira, every question we had for the staff was answered immediately.
I've been to a lot of hotels and usually have a great experience. But what makes this one unforgettable are the people, really the personalities, you will encounter here. It all started with David and Jeff welcoming us with their banter. Paul in maintenance brings his A game. Joyce made us epic breakfasts.
You can beat the location and views. This hotel is on the intercostal. So you will see dolphins. I saw 2 sitting at the bistro eating dinner. There is a Publix with beach toys right around the corner. Your room has a mini fridge and microwave. You’re close to the beach and many good restaurants.
Getting married at Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Clearwater/Madeira Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
