We planned our wedding and vacation to Crook Point last year. Unfortunately, we ended up having to cancel. But Kathleen was so fantastic to work with, from start to finish.
We chose Crook Point for our wedding solely based on pictures (Since we didn't live nearby). It more than exceeded our expectations. As a venue it was beautiful, breathtaking, and brilliant. Our wedding was on the main lawn, which has a view of Arch Rock.
As a wedding and elopement photographer, I love shooting at Crook Point! This property is truly so unique and a lovely place to get married at! There are so many options in packages to create a wedding experience that is custom to what you are wanting.
If you haven't had the chance to experience Crook Point you're truly missing out! The views are breathtaking. The grounds are extremely well kept. Kathleen and her team and very responsive and easy to work with. The houses are adorable and also have unreal sights. There is no other venue around like this one!
Getting married at Crook Point
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
