The best kept secret of Davenport! #1 place to visit for tide pools. Make sure you check the tide charts before visiting if going for tide pools. Tons of pelicans flying overhead. Bring your water shoes because the mussels can be sharp to walk on barefooted. Look out for sea anemone, hermit crabs, starfish, and crabs.
One of my absolute favorite beaches. The low tides exposed many interesting things. The weather was beautiful. This beach has easy access and bathrooms. I love finding sea glass here. It's dog friendly which doesn't pertain to me but I love to see friendly dogs playing and loving the beach like me.
We spent a great day here at weekend with less people. There is no such a parking lot, but you still could park along the street. Just notice that park your car within the white line. The restroom is at the entrance of the trail to the beach. No facilities for washing hands.
Davenport Landing Beach is truly a gem of a find along the coast. It’s quiet, beautiful, and feels untouched compared to many of the more crowded beaches nearby. The cliffs, open ocean views, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to just slow down and enjoy the coastline.
