Park Review 1. Park Quality - Decent place with easy access to Oceanside and Carlsbad. Overall the park is well maintained and clean. You can expect a daily dose of sand in your rig, no matter how diligent you are about cleaning your feet. I did not utilize the showers or restrooms so can’t comment on them.
One of my favorite campgrounds, especially in the winter when it feel like you have a private beach, aside from the ass early PT, but even then, it’s impressive to watch those MACHINES workout.
amazing... our fellow veterans and family were at the rv camp grounds on 8 January till 11 January 2026 and our stay was amazing... at the beach in January, 70 ish degrees, you can't beat that!!! the staff at the office along with the reservation was outstanding!!! the office staff... This is a review for the Marina kayak rental and Del Mar Beach ⛱️🏖️. **Kayak Rental:** I took my granddaughters out for their very first kayaking adventure, and we had such a wonderful time! Corey helped us, and he couldn’t have been more respectful and accommodating. My granddaughters had a blast!
Getting married at Del Mar Beach & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
