Descanso Beach Club is the perfect place to relax on Catalina Island! Crystal-clear water, soft sand, and comfy loungers. You can swim, sip a cocktail, or just enjoy the ocean view. The vibe is chill and upscale. Highly recommended for a beach day!
Fake euro summer. This beach club rivals some of the beach clubs I’ve been to in the French Riviera. The service is awesome and friendly, the chaises are pretty big and the water is beautiful.
My wife and I had an awesome time at the club. It was my first time on the island. Our first day, she booked us a couple of beach chairs at the club. The service from Mitchel was top notch. He really made the experience elevated. Super friendly and professional.
Getting married at Descanso Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
