I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at Dolphin Point Villas in Key Largo, and it was truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. The property is absolutely beautiful — the perfect backdrop for a romantic Florida Keys wedding, especially with those unforgettable sunset views.
My family has stayed here twice in past year, and are already looking forward to our next visit! We have stayed in the Dolphin Villa and the Conch Villa. Both were great, but we favored the Conch Villa just a bit more! The pool is perfect for small children, as it is very shallow all throughout!
Dolphin point villas is the most special place we’ve ever been to. The team there is beyond amazing and catering to their guests. Everyone went so above and beyond to have the most magical weekend filled with so much love. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced a better trip to the keys in this little paradise.
I booked my destination wedding for a weekend at Dolphin Point Villas. We had over 50 guests stay on site for 3 nights and had the ceremony on a Saturday in January. I couldn’t have asked for a better venue for what I was envisioning.
Getting married at Dolphin Point Villas
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
