An Unforgettable Escape! There’s truly nothing like the Nantucket Vibe—it’s like stepping into a living postcard from the past. Whether you're strolling cobblestone streets or breathing in the salty ocean breeze, the island's charm wraps around you.
Other than some crowd control help at the front door at busy events, the Dreamland continues to amaze. Beyond blockbusters, the independents, film fests and now an increase in contemporary musicians (live and not just classical!) makes the property the premier entertainment destination on island. Kudos to all!
Unassuming gem in the middle of the tourist area. If there's an event on the rooftop patio you must attend!
We snagged some tickets at dreamland and were able to attend DJ Pete on the rooftop for a great event.
Getting married at Dreamland Film and Performing Arts Theatre
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
