We had an amazing stay here! We stayed on the 16th floor, so we had a great view of the ocean. Its a short walk to the beach. The pools were never crowded. There is plenty of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance.
Second time at Edgewater Beach Condominiums. Unit 609 is very nicely furnished and decorated. The King bed is quite comfortable. However, there are very limited start-up supplies.
There's a few super minor things that could probably used updated. Personally I would have glass tables & decor removed for a place that caters to families. Just so the risk of an injury or accident is removed.

A private penthouse terrace ceremony on Florida's Emerald Coast at the Edgewater Beach Resort, steps from Destin, Seaside, and Rosemary Beach. It was everything we wanted — intimate, beautiful, and completely stress-free.
Getting married at Edgewater Resort by Ocean Reef
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
