My husband and I got married at Elkington in October 2022 and we can’t say enough amazing things about Elizabeth and Elkington. Elizabeth was amazing to work with and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect.
Elkington is the perfect venue for a wedding on the Eastern Shore. The property is massive with stunning water views and beautiful gardens. You can make the wedding your own with the large property. No two weddings are alike at Elkington.
Great venue, everyone was so helpful. It offers a lot of great spaces for your event and the hosts are extraordinary flexible with helping to accommodate your ideal space.
Beautiful venue right on the water! Was there for a summer wedding last year and the whole place was dreamlike. Would definitely recommend.
Getting married at Elkington Events
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
