I’ll start off my saying that this place was absolutely breathtaking. Every sight you could choose from was equally as gorgeous and had my wedding day not been so windy, I would have had a harder time choosing! Next, Jim was a fantastic person all around.
Choosing Jim and Margaret (Elope Up North) for our wedding service was one of the best decisions we made. Their warmth and expertise made our wedding day a joy and full of memories that will remind us of the day for years to come. The pictures they took were absolutely amazing!
My husband and I got married at Elope Up North on October 21, 2023. Everything was perfect, the property, the ceremony location, the photos, everything! Jim & Margaret were extremely friendly and helpful, and really made our day go as smooth as possible.

Getting married at Elope Up North
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
