Most wonderful wedding experience! I'm not one to leave reviews often, and I had to take a moment to compile my thoughts. We hosted my daughters wedding reception at Emma's in March. It started with the Bride and Bridesmaids moving into the house the night before.
Wow, We had a great stay. Everyone was so very nice. They make you feel like family. The furnishings are amazing. ONLY out done by the spectacular views of Mobile Bay. Don't dare miss the the sunset. I bet the aurora borealis gets jealous. We will be back
I am not sharing my sunset pictures, which are amazing...come and take your own. Great stay as usual. Emma's is in the perfect location just a few blocks from the center of town and it's property adjoins the Fairhope pier and park property.
My daughter and I stayed at Emma’s for a long weekend and from the moment we arrived we knew it was a special place. Comfortable and relaxing, the home allows you to put aside all the “outside noises and stressors” to enjoy a lovely home with exceptional hospitality and gracious living.
Getting married at Emma's Bay House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
