We recently hosted a three-day executive program at the beautiful Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cassie Ahern, the Corporate Catering Sales Manager. Cassie was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish.
Amazing location. We had 170 people here for a wedding. We booked almost 60 rooms. The feedback we got from family and friends was amazing. The meals were first class. The Friday night welcome party outside was beautiful and the food they provided was fantastic. The actual wedding went off without any issues.
Absolutely loved my stay at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa! The property is beautiful, peaceful, and feels like a hidden garden in the middle of La Jolla. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, the rooms were gorgeous, and every detail felt so relaxing and luxurious.
We loved our recent day at Estancia, La Jolla. The grounds are immaculate. It gave me all kinds of ideas for our own garden back in Los Angeles. Service was impeccable and we were particularly moved by the concierge, Jack Lobenstein, who was so incredibly helpful. It was a great stay and we will be back.
Getting married at Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
