From the reviews
We hosted our wedding at Scripps Seaside Forum, and can't recommend it highly enough! The entire space is customizable to bring your own vision to life. We opted to have our ceremony and dinner right on the grass at the Forum, next to the ocean.
My sister had her wedding here the venue was unreal. Right on the ocean steps away from the sand. View of the pier and ocean was beautiful and really priceless. The Spot set the mood for the night. Beautiful location for a beautiful wedding. Highly suggest the spot for your big day or party!
My only daughter, Mira, had her wedding reception last December 6, 2025, at this location and it was so beautiful and magnificent site as it has the ocean view as a background plus the setting (sundown) sun being the background for many pictures taken. It has plenty of space to accommodate more than a hundred guests.
Assisted with a wedding here. Beautiful location, and the venue staff was extremely helpful. It is incredible at sunset and afterwards. Only drawback is the lack of privacy, although it wasn't too big of a deal. Most people were pretty respectful.
Getting married at Scripps Seaside Forum
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
