We always stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites when traveling. And this one may actually be the best one yet. Clean comfortable room with a fantastic view. Super comfy bed, and as always the price is right. Love that you can get coffee any time of day. And the breakfasts they serve for free mind you, are great.
This is our absolute favorite spot to stay in Chincoteague. It’s an incredibly convenient location, with clean rooms, a nice pool, and phenomenal views. We generally stay in a bay view room with a deck, which is a must. One time we stayed on the backside and it was pretty unpleasant.
Really solid hotel with a great location. Even the "no view" rooms have a decent view, and the deck is wonderful. The one downside is that the walls are thin so you will hear other people if there are people in the adjacent rooms, but all in all no complaints.
Getting married at Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Chincoteague Island Waterfront
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
