The staff was awesome and helpful. Had my brothers wedding in there back yard on the water. Was a nice quite place. Breakfast staff the rock, tip the girl with the book.
I shared a room with my aunt, unexpectedly. We were out of town for a homegoing service. When I realized I was staying there, I was reluctant. I'm terrified of bedbugs & I don't sleep away from home often. I Immediatley inspected the room. Imagine my surprise to find the room thoroughly cleaned.
My fiance and me spent our first anniversary in this wonderful place, Ruthann and her son received us with an amazing service, welcoming vibe and wine to celebrate. 🥂🍾 The view from the last floor was majestic. Pretty clean, luminous, and wonderful view to the bay.
Absolutely the best quality "motel" I've ever stayed at. Impeccably clean, rooms with a view from a balcony, a walkable pier into the bay, pleasant staff. Some "resorts" offer less amenities than here. Pick this one over the ones nearby, it's worth it! Would recommend and return! 10/10!
Getting married at Waterside Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
