We had a wedding event here and it surpassed our already high hopes. Meg, Emily, and the entire Fathom team were incredibly helpful and responsive and did everything possible to make our vision a reality. Amazing space and convenient location in the heart of Georgetown.
We had our wedding reception at Fathom Gallery Georgetown on Saturday, October 26. It was the perfect venue for our wedding of about 95 guests. Fathom Gallery Georgetown was the perfect venue for our 70 person wedding. From the moment we reached out, Meg and Emily were incredibly responsive and helpful, answering every question and request promptly, no matter how small.
We hosted our wedding ceremony and reception at Fathom Gallery Georgetown, and could not recommend the venue more for any events. The space is a beautiful urban oasis, and the amount of love and care that has gone into planning and designing the gallery is so evident.
Getting married at Fathom Gallery Georgetown
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
