Absolutely Beautiful! It's rather small compared to most campgrounds but was perfect for us. My family enjoyed the private beach area and the other out going (seasonal) campers. Joy and John were extremely helpful and are always working hard to ensure the grounds are well maintained! We will be back :) ❤🌤👍🐠🌼🔥🥰
Family and I are staying in the Penthouse, Studio A, and Studio B. Everything is very nice, the only issues I've had are the amount of spiderwebs inside and the beds are a bit hard. The space is clean otherwise. The cooking equipment is great for vacation use. The beach is really nice and a great size.
I have been staying here every summer for several years and have never been disappointed. The private beach feels like you have left the state of Ohio! The cabins are quaint and have just the right amenities to make your stay great! The owners work hard to make sure your stay is great!
What an awesome place! The colors of the cottages gives you no choice but to be happy! The owner Joy is absolutely AWESOME! The Erie Kai had friendly bartenders and knowledge on cool places to see in the area! The beach is clean and welcoming!! We LOVED our time there and will definitely return!!
Getting married at Firefly Beach Ohio
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
