On a last minute whim, my husband and I decided on an overnight stay at the lake with our infant. Kathleen was so sweet and able to accommodate our stay despite it not meeting usual booking criteria. And we were so lucky she did!
I have stayed here 5 years in a row and absolutely love it! I come for the quiet moments sitting in the impeccably maintained yard looking at Lake Erie with my morning coffee, a book in the afternoon, and a glass of wine ( from PAper Moon Winery) at sunset. My little cottage #4 is perfect for me and I sleep so sound.
If you want a beautiful view of the lake and a very cute, clean place to stay, you need to visit Plaz Vilka!!! I have stayed there many times, but new this year was the beautiful stone terracing down by the lake!! Oh my, morning coffee tastes so much better sitting there watching the lake!
Perfect for the family. Cottage was nice and clean. Had more than enough of what we needed. Private beach was quaint. Very friendly environment. Close to a larger public beach. Close to many food options (adults and children).
