Had a great stay but wishin i had more time here. 5 stars for sure! Alfie at the front desk is the friendliest host with warmest smile. She took great care of our whole crew, 21 in all. We had a wedding on the beach, perfect setting. We all loved her and will be returning!!!
This place is a great getaway in the keys, without having to drive all the way down to Key West. It is definitely a better value play than some of the really expensive places to stay. If you or someone in your family loves fishing, they can fish right off the back. There is a dock there that has a nice set up.
We've stayed here a few times now and will return. I love the central location in the keys and the boat dock access. They let you borrow kayak's and paddle boards from the office. This is now a large place but that's part of the draw for us. You can also dock smaller ocean going boats.
Nice amenities and great staff. The rooms are generously sized and they are being renovated and updated. The king sized beds are very comfortable - firm yet not too hard wi th nice crisp linens and nice pillows. The best part is the private beach, free paddle boards, kayaks, and bikes.
Getting married at Fisher Inn Resort & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
