From the reviews
Nice, rustic, studio cabin located just a few feet from the Lake Tahoe shore. The cabin is very comfy and could really use some updates but what sets this apart is the private deck located right at the shores of the most beautiful lake in the world!
We rented the private cabin with Franciscan Lakeside Lodge for 3 days and 2 nights. Customer Service: 5/5 Experience: 5/5 Room: 4/5 We loved the Experience and the room. The views are beautiful and the whole experience was terrific which is why I'm giving them full 5 stars.
This place is a gem! The units are cute and affordable. The property was clean and well maintained. Our unit was rented through airB&B, so some units must be privately owned. The beach is small but it's private and while we were there is was quiet.
Awesome place. There are two areas. One on the lake side of the road, and one on the forest side of the road. The forest side is quiet and has a pool. It is next to a cross walk to go to the beach. So it takes 1 or 2 minutes to walk to the lake. The lake side has some cabins, but they are not all beach front.
Getting married at Franciscan Lakeside Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
