Ruffhouse Rescue had a lovely event here. It was totally filled with great people, good food, and the Ruffhouse Rescue people. Lovely evening. I will be going again.
Great little venue, located right on water with beautiful views and plenty of parking. Very roomy for a wedding, and nice open space concept with lots of outside light which is a huge plus during summer days. Food is good, alcohol is even better. Definitely worth checking out for any type of event.
We had my future daughter in laws Bridal Shower at the Yacht Club this past Sunday and it was perfect. Brian was AMAZING! We didn't want for anything, the food ...delicious, the space was just right and everyone had a great time. Thank you again for everything.
Getting married at Freeport Yacht Club Rentals

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
