Pretty nice beach ⛱️, clean, not alot of people in September. Bathrooms 🚽 and showers are the cleanest I've ever seen at a beach. Great location for a car show first time there. Plenty of parking. A lot of gorgeous cars , hot rods, rat rods, custom muscle cars ,Lincoln’s, Cadillacs I won 2’nd price for my 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz triple white was a pleasure to show and show my car a lot of people appreciated it .
My first time visiting this location and it was beautiful and I love birding and most of the inland water is frozen so it was nice to be here and see the lovely birds and the beautiful sunset
Visited on a cold winter morning and practically had the beach to myself. Restrooms were already winterized for the season.
Getting married at Point Lookout Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
