Gather on Maui is the perfect spot for a destination wedding! We had our wedding here on August 1st with the ceremony at the wedding knoll and reception on the lower lawn. Bella was extremely helpful during the planning process and helped us select food/beverage options.
We came back to Gather on Maui for our 1 year anniversary dinner. We got married on Maui a year ago and had our reception dinner here. Everything was spectacular. Our server Amber made the night feel truly special.
Gather on Maui was one of the best meals we had on the island. The restaurant has a relaxed but upscale atmosphere with the best sunset views, and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and well prepared.
The best we had on the island was here at Gather. We started with three appetizers. The brussel sprouts, Kung Pao calamari and ahi poke nachos. The Kung Pao calamari was out of this world.
Getting married at Gather on Maui for Food + Drink
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
