From the reviews
Our stay at The Gibson Inn was absolutely exceptional. I cannot emphasize enough just how phenomenal their lodging is! To me, it was Southern hospitality at its finest, with the kind of attention to detail that makes a stay feel genuinely special instead of just comfortable.
This place is awesome! Great location for walking to shops and restaurant. Love the porches to sit outside and people watch. The owner has taken Great care of purchasing unique items to decorate his hotel and definitely paid attention to detail. The bar serves great drinks and fun to meet people..
My stay at the Gibson Inn was magical from start to finish. It started from the moment I pulled into the parking lot. Jonah was most helpful and not only told us all the information we needed to know, but carried my bag to my room. The rooms are gorgeous with all kinds of hidden amenities.
Getting married at Gibson Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
