The Majestic Jewel Inn far exceeded every expectation we had. This charming and gorgeous restored historic home is in a perfect location, with wonderful hospitality and every amenity you could think of. It is close to so much beautiful nature, unique historical sites, friendly people, and delicious food.
We go to Apalachicola yearly and the Majestic Jewel was our best lodging experience ever ! We're wondering how it took us so long to try this perfect spot ? The house and grounds are gorgeous and our hosts June and Greg were beyond cordial and fun.
June and Greg are the perfect hosts. They are friendly, right there at the Inn if you need them, and gave us great recommendations. The Inn itself is an historic home that was beautifully restored.
We had a great weekend eloping to the Majestic Jewel. Greg and June were wonderful and accommodating in every way in making our day perfect. June picked a private spot by the water and Greg performed our vows. We then celebrated with a little bubbly! Highly recommend
Getting married at Majestic Jewel Inn of Apalachicola
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
