From the reviews
We were so fortunate to spend three days with our fantastic hosts Dave and Michelle at The Bear Track Inn and my husband and I were absolutely delighted on all fronts. Location? Out of a movie.
This is such a special place! The setting is gorgeous and the Inn is just beautiful! But what really stands out is the warm welcome and excellent hospitality that you’ll enjoy during your entire stay.
My wife and I spent three nights at Bear Track Inn during our AK adventure. The lodge, property and service was all top notch. This is a family owned and operated lodge with the owners actively involved in every aspect of our stay.
Wow! If you want a quintessential Alaska experience, look no further than the Bear Track Inn. The setting is the perfect combination of remote and cozy comfortable. Dave and Michelle are incredible hosts.
Getting married at Glacier Bay's Bear Track Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
