From the reviews
I stayed here during a work trip and had a wonderful experience. The lodge is lovely, with wonderful surroundings that made for a relaxing stay. My room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and communication throughout my stay was excellent.
Two night stay, doing land exploring in Glacier Bay Park before catching a week's small boat adventure. I can't say enough good things about the family built, owned and operated lodge. Full meals, to go bags for lunch if you aren't there, and a local multi-generational family that loves where they are and what they do.
Good food but pricey. Free bikes but check them out, one doesn't have brakes. Great views and very peaceful.
Getting married at The Annie Mae Lodge
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
