We recently had the pleasure of celebrating our wedding at Glen Island Country Club, and it was nothing short of spectacular! From our beautiful outdoor ceremony to an elegant cocktail hour and reception in the Terrace club room, every moment was perfectly orchestrated.
Attended a wedding here recently, very beautiful venue! Much of the venue overlooks the lake and the views are breathtaking from every aspect. Next, the granite and marble floors are so alluring. The rooms are granduer and can accommodate many people! The staff are respectful , kind and helpful.
We had a December 2024 wedding, and though most people fear having a winter wedding having it at Glen Island Harbor Club relieved all of the fears from the moment we visited the venue and met Rodney.
Oh my goodness gracious we wish we could get married here all over again! The staff and service at Glen Island are extraordinarily impeccable. The ceremony room was exquisite and breathtaking, and I knew that this was the place we were going to get married from the first day that we tour the venue.
Getting married at Glen Island Harbour Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
