From the reviews
Beautiful place to go for a walk, jog, bbq, picnic, take in scenic views, etc.. They have a few playgrounds and a Harbour Club for special events. Had the privilege of meeting Trini, the park's Foreman. Nicest guy ever!! Definitely going back!
The park didn’t disappoint, from the spacious grounds to picnic; the beach which we didn’t truly prepare for to the playgrounds for the children, it was truly a Memorial Day well spent. Oh, did I mention the castle and placement of cannons. I was a good time.
I always enjoy going to Glen Island Park. The park is clean and the scenery is beautiful. I went there last Sunday for a birthday party celebration and as always it was lovely. Once you live in Westchester County, you can always use the park for a small fee to have parties.
A wondeful place to spend time fishing, walking, jogging or just enjoying the day. It is super clean and well maintained. It has amazing views of the Long Island Sound. The park has a marina, a beach, a large gazebo where you can sit and enjoy either your own meal or the one they have .
Getting married at Glen Island Park
Glen Island Park is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
