Stayed in room 201, corner room with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and 2 balconies. Very clean and spacious. Full kitchen with utensils. Great views of the beach and lake. Quiet. Stayed for two nights during fall fest. Would stay again and recommend to others. Very nice restaurant, with a supper club/Northwoods vibe on site.
Beautiful location on the water. Lovely view from our unit. The units were well appointed and well maintained. The additional amenities, including the indoor pool and the workout room, were great. We enjoyed a nice Valentines weekend at the Glidden Lodge. We will be back again.
We had such a lovely weekend at The Glidden Lodge. We loved everything about this place. Great location and stunning views of Lake Michigan. The clean and spacious accommodation had everything we could possibly want including a big oversized bathtub for some quiet relaxing!
This was my first time in Wisconsin, so I decided to treat myself to a few nights here. I'm so glad I did! The view was spectacular from my room, and the sunrise every morning was absolutely stunning. I loved the gas fireplace and the comfy chairs, along with having quick access to the beach and lots of places to sit.
Getting married at Glidden Lodge Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
