Beautiful location on the water with nice accommodations in the room. The gas fireplace has a convenient timer and generates a good deal of warmth. The furniture was clean and comfortable, better than your average hotel grade. The mattress was in good shape with plenty of pillows.
We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday weekend at Westwood Shores. Our 2 bedroom suite was spacious, providing ample space to hang out as a group. We enjoyed the covered balcony and the views of the bay can't be beat. The teenagers in our group had fun on the peddle boat and the views of the sunset can't be beat.
We loved our stay! The pool, sauna, and hot tub were so nice to enjoy with the winter weather. The sunset view in the 2 bedroom suite was amazing. We watched from the balcony and one night we watched from the shoreline. All employees were very polite and kind. if only all hotels were this welcoming.
Amazing! Probably one of the best places to stay in Sturgeon Bay! Loved the cosy fireplace! They had a guest review book, cool. Beautiful view of sunset, comfy bed! Loved it here, definitely hope to come again sometime! Nice, big pool! Hot hot tub. sauna wasn't really working, but otherwise good pool area! Great room!
Getting married at Westwood Shores Waterfront Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
