From the reviews
It's a beautiful piece of history preserved right in downtown. Amenities are many and pleasant. The architecture itself will impress you. If you're looking for a wonderful venue that will leave you with memories of a lifetime, this is the place. My brother's friend got married here many years ago and it was wonderful.
My bride and I had our wedding reception here and I can honestly say that they exceed all expectations. The staff is warm and attentive, the food is excellent, and the venue itself is one of the most gorgeous places in all of Duluth. If you're looking for a wedding experience you'll never forget, look no further.
Our family attended a wedding and reception. Wonderful staff, excellent food and a building full of classic flair. The night was flawless!
Beautiful old world charm! I attended a wedding and reception there and not only was the room so beautiful but the staff was excellent.
Getting married at Greysolon Ballroom
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
