From the reviews
We had our wedding in The Moorish Room with about 75 guests. It genuinely could not have been more perfect. Kalysta Leschishin was our planner and our amazing day would not have been possible without her. She truly was incredible to work with and words cannot describe how much I appreciate everything she did for us.
Attended a wedding here and it was a beautiful space in downtown Duluth. The food was delicious and the service even better throughout the entire wedding
If there is a more perfect location for a wedding I have yet to see it. Every - single - moment of every interaction with literally every member of the team was simply put perfect. The entire team is composed of the most professional and down to earth people that you could hope to encounter.
We rented the Moorish room for a wedding. It was a package including the normal venue stuff and the catering. They took care of almost everything. We did bring a few of our own table decorations but not much. The venue itself is so beautiful that nothing else is needed.
Getting married at Greysolon by Black Woods
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
