ROMANTIC & MAGICAL! We had our elopement ceremony on the lower lawn with Waipio Valley in the background. Absolute paradise, I'm so glad we chose Hale Kukui Orchard for our wedding 😊 The property was so gorgeous I could not stop taking pictures. Fresh fruit to pick while you wander.
The Orchard Suite is probably the best spot to stay on the ENTIRE island. Every place we stayed after just didn't compare. To start the room itself is absolutely beautiful, perfectly laid out and clean with lovely decor, floors and ceilings.
This was by far the most incredible experience of a stay on the big island. giving me and my family the perfect experience of the local life, beautiful, fresh fruit, and Breathtaking views. AND WATERFALLS!!!
Get away and wake up in a orchard on a Hawaiian cliff for a few days. Special quiet location with privacy and views. Local market had great fresh meats, fish, veggies, and fruit, and we pretty much never left.
Getting married at Hale Kukui Orchard and Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
