From the reviews
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, with a beautiful oceanfront balcony and great views. The service was excellent and the staff was very friendly. There is a nice indoor pool with a hot tub and sauna on the 4th floor, which the kids really enjoyed.
Room was clean and the stay was lovely overall. LOVE the built in water filtration for the kitchen sink to improve drinking water quality from tap. Only gripe was after a long day we wanted to watch a little tv and neither tv functioned properly.
Hotel staff was super accommodating for my handicapped father - getting us a room just a short walk from the lobby. They even had a bottle of sparkling soda in our to help celebrated Dad’s 86th bday! The views were to die for - right on the beach. Onsite restaurant (Georgie’s) was excellent.
Great place! Things we liked; -They put sparkling cider in the fridge and gave us a cute message in a bottle for a birthday we were celebrating. -There are huge windows in the room to see the beautiful view. -They have a hose near the hotel to wash off feet after exploring the beach.
Getting married at Hallmark Resort Newport
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
